Does the monthly rent include petrol?

No, the monthly rent does not include petrol.


Is there an early cancellation fee?

If you cancel after signing the rental agreement, you will need to pay all rental fees (calculated at daily rates) and other outstanding amounts (excess mileage, damages, fines, etc.).


What happens when the request is rejected?

If the request is rejected, a replacement from another provider in the same category or another car will be searched for.


What are the reasons for rejecting the request?

The requested car may not be available at the service providers, the ekar team will work hard to fulfill your request from another provider.


Is there a delivery service from the branch?

At the start of the booking process, you can choose the receiving and delivery option through the application.


What type of insurance is available?

Car rental companies offer comprehensive insurance on all vehicles; however, if the driver is found at fault, they will be required to pay a file opening fee for repairs, starting from 2500 SAR. To avoid paying this fee, eKar offers an additional insurance service for a fee that can be added to the booking.


To completely avoid paying the file opening fee, eKar offers a full additional insurance service that covers 100% of the repair costs. Additionally, eKar provides a Lite additional insurance option, which covers 50% of the repair file costs.


Is monthly booking available in other cities?

Yes, monthly rental is available in several cities, including Riyadh, Jeddah, Makkah, Jazan, Taif, Yanbu, Khobar, Abha, and other cities according to your choice of car and insurance company coverage.


Can the car be exchanged during booking?

Yes, you can exchange the car in case you encounter a problem after contacting the Customer Service Team to ensure that the replacement is available


How do I pay for the monthly booking?

Payment will be made only through the credit card, where the amount will be reserved upon confirming the booking and deducted upon receiving the car and starting the trip.


What are the delivery and receiving times?

Times vary and are dependent on rental companies.


How will the car regular maintenance be carried out?

All cars are scheduled for maintenance periodically, to make sure you can contact the customer service team.


Is there any roadside assistance?

Roadside assistance is available within the city of Riyadh and Jeddah only, and it depends on the service provider.


Is there an additional driver authorization?

In most cases, the service of adding an additional driver is available, but it depends on the rental company that provides it


How do I renew my contract?

Your contract will be renewed automatically when you do not end the booking through the application.


How do I return my car?

You can schedule the return of your car through the application, and you can easily select the details of the return.


You should make sure to refuel the car to the same level you received it to avoid any additional fees.


Are the prices in the application the final price?

Here is what the subscription fee includes:

What is the minimum subscription period?

The minimum monthly subscription is 1 month and the maximum is 12 months.


What type of insurance is available?

Car rental companies provide comprehensive insurance for all cars. However, in the event of an error rate on the part of the driver, he/she must pay for opening a repair file, which is initially estimated at SAR 2,500. To avoid paying for opening the repair file, the service providers provide additional insurance services in exchange for fees to be added to the booking price.
